/15/2015I have not long ago purchased an Arduino Uno R3 from Adafruit. Arduino IDE cannot communicate with the board. Disconnect the Uno. In device manager select view and click show hidden devices. Then go in and remove all the USB and Com port devices that are hidden. Restart windows and plug in your Uno and see if it shows up in the device
